SAMBA, Dec 23: Sports cum Athletic Meet concluded at Humanity Public School, Bari Brahamana, here today.
The chief guest was Lt Col Rajeev Mehta, Officiating Commanding Officer, 157 Infantry Battalion (TA) Sikh Sardar Bikkar Singh (Subedar Major) 157 Infantry Battalion (TA) Sikh was the guest of honour.
The main attractions of the closing day were Sack Race, Balloon Bursting, Shoes and Socks Race, Spoon and Marble Race, Tug of War, Duck Fighting, 100 Meters Race (Boys/Girls) Seniors & Juniors, Matka Race, Coin -Picking, Spoon Lemon Race, Matka Race and Kabaddi (Boys).
In Sack Race the winners were Amit of (Akash House 1st) Lakshman of (Akash House 2nd) Hemant of (Akash House 3rd).
In Balloon Bursting, the winner was Suleman from Pre-Nursery.
In Shoes and Socks race the winners were Ejaz from (Prithvi House 1st), Raghuvansh from (Agni House 2nd) Ramu from (Prithvi House 3rd). In Spoon and Marble race the winners were Anshu from (Trishool House 1st), Sakshi from (Agni House 2nd).
In Tug of War (Boys), Trishool House won the title by beating Agni House. In Duck Fighting the winner was Sourav from Agni House.
In 100 Meter Sprint Boys (seniors), the winners were Ganesh from (Agni House 1st), Vishal from (Trishool House 2nd) and Wasim from (Trishool House 3rd). In 100 Meter Race Girls (seniors) the winners were Yasmeen from (Agni House 1st), Shaidu from (Trishool House 2nd) and Neha from (Trishool House 3rd).
In Matka Race, the winners were Sazia from (Akash House 1st), Neha from (Prithvi House 2nd) and Pallavi from (Trishool House 3rd). In Coin Picking the winners were Rahul from (Akash House 1st), Nakul from (Akash House 2nd) and Sahil from (Trishool House 3rd). In Spoon- Lemon Race the winners were Neha from (Agni House 1st), Sonia of ( Agni House 2nd) and Vishali from (Trishool House 3rd). In Kabaddi the winners were (Seniors Boys) from Agni House.
