JAMMU, Feb 4: Govern-ment SPMR College of Commerce clinched 2nd position in UT level online quiz competition, organised by J&K AIDS Control Society and H&ME Department, Govt of J&K.
The event was organised at three levels including District, Divisional & UT level in which the students of all UG Colleges and PG Colleges and Professional Colleges participated.
Students of SPMR College of Commerce Jammu Cadet Nishant Gupta and Cadet Aman Rai of Semester III participated in the above mentioned quiz and secured 1st position at the two levels i.e, District and Divisional levels and qualified for the UT level quiz event in which the NCC Cadets secured 2nd position along with cash prize of Rs15000.
“Such activities keep the students connected and encourage them to showcase their creativity and shall ultimately keep in achieving the goal of free India from HIV, TB and COVID-19,” said College Principal, Prof RS Jamwal. He also appreciated the efforts of the students and Nodal officer, Prof Savita Jamwal for this achievement.
