JAMMU, Dec 10: SPMR College of Commerce lifted the title of Table Tennis Men Inter-collegiate tournament, organized by Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) at Government MAM College, here today.
Dr GS Rakwal, Principal Government MAM College was the chief guest along with Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator CLUJ and Physical Director GGM Science College.
SPMR College of Commerce got better of GGM Science College in Men’s final by 3-2, while in the 1st set Maanay Mansotra of SPMR College of Commerce defeated Asif Mujtaba of GGM Science College by 3-0 and in 2nd set, Mustafa Kamal of GGM Science College trounced Rishab Gupta by 3-2, besides in 3rd set, Vishvardhan of GGM Science College drubbed Raghav Kochhar of SPMR College of Commerce by 3-1, whereas in 4th set, Mannay Mansotra of SPMR College of Commerce beat Mustaba Kamal of GGM Science College by 3-0 and in 5th set, Rishab Gupta of SPMR College of Commerce trounced Asif Mujtaba of GGM Science College by 3-0.
The tournament was played under the supervision of Neenu Sawhney, Physical Director Govt. MAM College and under the overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu and Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu.
Dr Seema Jamwal (Convenor, Sports Committee MAM College), Professor Anupama Kumari, Dr Sonam Mehta, Romesh Malhotra and Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director GDC Ramban were present during the event along with media persons and participants of the event.
The match was officiated by Rekha Ratra, Vikram Dogra and Anil Dogra.
