KATHUA, Mar 7: Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial (GLDM) Degree College Hiranagar organized the valedictory function of weeklong ‘Special Winter Camp’ under the guidance of College Principal, Prof Suresh Kumar Sharma, here today.
Prof Sujat Khan presided over the function as the chief guest. The program started with the welcome address by Prof Rakesh Sharma, followed by the lighting of traditional lamps by the chief guest.
A cultural bonanza was also presented by the volunteers including Saraswati Vandana, skit, nukkad natak, Dogri song and Punjabi Bhangra, while Ankush Sambyal and Priya Sharma expressed their views during the event.
The proceedings of the program were conducted by Vidhi Sharma and Komal Sharma, while Nishu Kumari and Manjeet Kumar were selected for best female and best male volunteers of the camp.
Prof Kiran Thapa, Dr Arun Kumar, Dr Usha Rani and Dr Preeti Verma were part of the seven days camp. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof Chinky Sangral.
