Spartan Club, New XI register wins in Tennis Cricket

JAMMU, July 20: Spartan Cricket Club and New XI registered convincing victories over their rivals in the ongoing Tennis Cricket Night Tournament at BHSS, here today.
The first match was played between Malik Seri XI and Spartan Club.
Malik Seri XI set a target of 78 runs in 10 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.
In reply, Spartan Club reached the target easily and won the match by 8 wickets. Arshad Choudhary, Assistant Director  Handloom was the chief guest on the occasion.
In another match New XI beat JD Raza XI in a close contest by 2 runs.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prem Parkash Luthra, retired DYSSO, Pawan Sharma Lecturer in Physical Education,  Rajinder Singh PEM, Kewal Krishan, Sanjay Misri, Narinder Singh PEM, Matinder Pal Singh and Rajinder Singh PET
Today’s match officials were Gurmeet Singh, Vijay Sharma, Sukhpreet Singh, Zaffar Shah and Imran Khan.
The tournament was organised under the banner of Ehsaas Foundation and under the supervision of Parvez Malik, Chairman of the Foundation and Gurvinder Singh, Secretary of the same.
