JAMMU, Apr 25: SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, Jammu got Golden Category Award for promoting UN Global Sustainable Goals through education in the academic year 2016-17, organized by (GEARED) Global Educators Association for Educational Research and Development in New Delhi at Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar.
Over 100 Schools participated in this program, out of which 27 schools were felicitated for their remarkable work.
School gave data under two sustainable development goals of UN-Life on Land and Partnership for the goals.
Under life on land goals, school did projects like Sustaina-bility of Water, Sustainability of Biodiversity, Planta-tion and Vanmoh-atsava etc., while under partnership for the goals, the students visited Blind School, Old Age Home etc.
