JAMMU, Dec 26: Sonia Sharma of GGM Science College bagged first prize in the Inter-Collegiate Symposium on the “Role of NSS in day to day life’ organised by NSS Units of Government Women College Parade, whereas second and third positions were claimed by Meenakshi of Host College and Sandeep of GGM Science College.
The consolation prize was awarded to Akanksha and Sheetal, both from Host College.
On the occasion, Dr Hemla Aggarwal, Principal of GCW, Parade was the chief guest, who awarded the winners of the symposium.
Dr Aggarwal in her address encouraged the students to take part in such activities.
Earlier, Dr DS Jamwal, NSS Programme Officer presented the welcome address, while, Prof PP Singh, NSS Programme Officer presented vote of thanks.
