JAMMU, Dec 11: The athletics team of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra is going to participate in All India Inter-University Athletics Championship being held at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
Both, men and women team are participating in this national level competition.
The said championship is going to be organized from tomorrow to December 17.
Vice Chancellor, Prof Sanjeev Jain gave his best wishes to the team.
A total of 12 members including 7 boys and 5 girls are representing SMVDU in this Championship.
Dean of students, Dr Yugal Khajuria, In-charge Sports, Rajiv Kumar, Administrative Officer, Vinod Sharma and Sports Coach, Sucha Singh were present during the send-off ceremony.
