KATRA, Nov 20: The Sports Wing of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Katra is organizing Mini Marathon for junior boys and girls on November 22, 2013, here.
The flag off ceremony of the event on the theme ‘Fitness First and Forever’ will be performed by Dr Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer SMVDSB, Katra.
The 8 kms race will culminate at Main Chowk of Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra, where the champions will be honoured by the chief guest.
According to the organizers, the event is being held with an objective to strengthen the sports and fitness activities and search talent among the youth.
