JAMMU, Nov 11: Sant Mela Singh (SMS) College of Education organized “Display Your Talent” Programme in the College premises, here today.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp, which was followed by recitation of Shabad by the students.
Colourful cultural items were presented on the occasion and the items included Kashmiri dance, Rajasthani folk dance, Punjabi Bhangra, Punjabi folk dance, Giddha, Skit, Solo dances and Solo songs.
Chairman of the College, Prof Anmol Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, who in his address lauded the efforts of the students and laid stress on discipline, devotion and dedication.
Earlier, College Principal, Dr Kiran Luthra presented welcome address and emphasized on the role of teachers in channelizing energy of the students in a proper way.
Parvinder Kour presented vote of thanks.
Ramandeep Kour and Group presented Punjabi Bhangra, while Gurvinder Kour presented Rajasthani dance and Punjabi Gidda was performed by Gurvinder Kour and Group.
Punjabi dance by Parvinder Kour and Punjabi song by Sonia Sharma were adjudged first and second respectively.
