Skilva, Naseem, Anmol emerge winners in Inter College Symposium

JAMMU, Nov 13: An Inter College Symposium on “Teachings of Guru Nanak Dev and the Contemporary World” was organized at GDC for Women.
GDC Boys Kathua, GDC Hiranagar, GDC Billawar, GDC Samba and GDC Bishnah participated in the symposium.
Prof Kulvinder Kour, Principal GDC Bishnah was the chief guest, while Prof Jasvinder Singh, Associate Professor in Physics, GDC Kathua was the special guest.
Prof Ranjeet Singh Jamwal, Principal GDC for Women Kathua presented the welcome address.
The students of the host college presented a colourful cultural programme.
In the symposium, Skilva Mahotra from GCW Parade, Naseem Choudhary from GCW Kathua and Anmol from GDC Bishnah bagged first, second and third positions respectively. The consolation prize was shared by Neeru Devi of GDC Billawar and Nayeeda Choudhary of GDC Samba.
In the end, Prof Umesh Kailoo presented vote of thanks.
Prof Babita Jamwal, Convener Cultural Committee, Prof Raj Kumari, Prof Ravinder Kour, Prof Naresh, all faculty of GDC for Women Kathua, faculty from participating colleges and students in large numbers were present during the symposium.
