JAMMU, May 31: To provide opportunity to the youth for showcasing their talent and to promote games and sports Kargil Sentinels organized Capt Saurabh Kalia LOC Cricket Tournament at Saurabh Kalia Cricket Stadium, Kaksar in collaboration with Civil NGO, SEWAK.
The final match of the tournament was played between Skarchan Latoo and Green Valley Kachoo. Skarchan Latoo won the match by 6 wickets.
The exciting and tough final was played today in the benign presence of General Officer Commanding 8 Mountain Division Manoj Pande and various other civil and military dignitaries.
General Officer Commanding 8 Mountain Division Manoj Pande in presence of Commander 121 Infantry Brigade Viresh Kushik, Hamza from SEWAK NGO, CEC Haji Hanifa Jaan, Executive Councilor Aga Abbas, Executive Councilor Ghulam Rasool Naqvi, Executive Councilor Angdus, Deputy Commissioner Haji Fida and Ex CEC Kargil Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan felicitated winner and runners-up teams with trophies and cash prizes on the occasion.
A total of 32 teams participated in the competition with zeal and zest. The matches were played on league cum knock out basis.
