JAMMU, Oct 31: Shaurya International School (SIS) celebrated its Annual Sports and Founder’s Day with unparalleled zeal and enthusiasm. Sheetal Nanda, Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare, J&K, was the chief guest on this occasion.
The event commenced with a soulful tribute to the founders, Late Janak Raj Gupta and Late Sneh Gupta, who encapsulated the core values that the school was built upon- a harmonious blend of academic brilliance and physical fitness. The event also included a spectacle of athletic prowess and sportsmanship as students from various age groups participated in a wide array of sporting events. From track and field competitions to team sports, the students showcased their agility, strength, and camaraderie. The day was rounded off with an award ceremony to recognize and felicitate the winners and participants, celebrating their achievements in the sports arena. The winners received medals and certificates, reinforcing the school’s commitment to encouraging excellence in both academics and sports.
