BARAMULLA, Aug 24: Outplaying Khalsa Club Uplina in the easy contest by (3-1) in the summit clash, Singhpora Sports Hockey Club lifted the title trophy of the Senior Hockey Tournament, organized by Hockey J&K and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council at Degree College Hockey field, here today.
12 top teams drawn from district Baramulla participated in the tournament and vied for the top honours.
Janak Singh Sodhi, President SGPC Baramulla was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony, while Mushtaq Ahmad, Manager Sports Council, Baramulla and Satinder Singh, senior hockey coach J&K State Sports Council were the guests of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ravi Raj Singh, Talib Hussain, RGN Wani and Manjeet Singh Mani.
Meanwhile, Hockey J&K informed that the Senior Hockey Tournament of District Kupwara will be organized from August 28, 2017 at the same venue.
