Singh Challenger, Junior XI Kathua log wins

JAMMU, June 9: Singh Challenger Cricket Club and Junior XI Kathua defeated their respective rivals to advance in the ongoing JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament, being organised under the supervision of Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission and Member JKCA at different venues across Jammu division.
At GGM Science College, Singh Challeneger defeated Young Star XI by 6 wickets. Batting first, Young Star XI scored 181 runs. Mohil top scored with 72 runs. From Singh Challenger, Depak took 3 wickets.
In reply, Singh Challenger reached the target easily by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Abhishek Jamwal top scored with 89 runs, while Manik contributed 70 runs to the total.
At Police Lines Kathua, Junior XI Kathua defeated Stadium XI Kathua by 6 wickets. Stadium XI scored 212 runs, while Junior XI chased the target by losing 4 wickets. Muzamil who scored 91 runs was declared as the man of the match.
