JAMMU, June 15: Singh Bataira crushed Street Warriors by a huge margin of 68 runs and sailed into the next round of the ongoing 8th Pawan Memorial Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club (SCC) Akhnoor at Government Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor.
Batting first after winning the toss, Singh Bataira made 135 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Anil played some crispy shots and scored 55 runs, while Binny chipped in 14 runs.
For Street Warriors side, Aman, Munna and Arush scalped 2 wickets each, while Rahul took one wicket.
In the second inning, Singh Warriors could not chase the target and lost the match by 68 runs for all out in 15 overs.
For Singh Bataira side, Happy, Tinku and Binny scalped 2 wickets each, while Lovely, Vikram and Panday took one wicket apiece.
Anil of Singh Bataira was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Sharma and Sunny Kumar as umpires, while Ashu maintained the scorecard.
