JAMMU, Nov 21: Singh Akhnoor Under 17 team trounced Kodawala Cricket Club under 17 team by 62 runs in an exhibition match, organised by Kodawala Cricket Club Akhnoor, here today.
Singh Akhnoor made 108 runs by losing four wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Paras Kapoor scored 30 runs while Karan Gupta and Danish Sharma contributed 27 & 15 runs respectively. For Kodawala Cricket Club, Keshav got two wickets whereas Shanty and Bharat clinched one wicket each.
In reply, Kodawala Cricket team bundled out at just 46 runs wherein Sukhdev was only batsman who made double figure 15 runs. From Singh Akhnoor, skipper Karan Gupta bagged four important wickets, Neeraj Gupta got three wickets while Ankush and Rishu clinched one wicket each.
Karan Gupta was declared as man of the match for his excellent performance with bat and ball.
Kr Sham Singh Langeh (Jammu District General Secretary JKCA) was the chief guest while match was organised under the overall supervision of Dharminder Sharma (President KCC).
