Short story writing competition held

JAMMU, Sept 3: Government Degree College (GDC), Vijaypur organized a national level online short story writing competition in Hindi language.
The event was organised under the partronship of Talat Pravez Rohella Commissioner/ Secretary HED UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The aim of the competition was to spark off the creative energy of the students by providing them a platform to showcase their writing skills.
Students from various colleges and universities of the country participated in which first position was secured by Poonam Sharma of BMS institute of paramedical sciences, Jammu, whereas the second position was shared by Bharti Devi of GDC Khour, Miswa Kousar of GDC Vijaypur and Sanjay Kumar of GDC Thathri and third position was shared by Vishal Gupta of GGM Science College Jammu and Hersha Rajput of MAM PG College Jammu.
Sonia Bhagat, Department of Hindi coordinated the event, whereas Dr Shittal Sharma, Prof Anil Bhagat and Dr Sunil Kumar Mangoch were part of the organising committee.
