KATRA, Oct 1: Shooters are being imparted intensive and extensive training by the professional coaches in the ongoing Coaching
Camp, being organised by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), here.
The Camp is being organised in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association.
The objective of the Camp is to help young shooters to learn basic and advance skills to be ready for National Level Shooting Championships, being organised by the National Rifle Association.
“The trainees both male and female in Junior and Senior levels are responding well and are are showing good results,” said Ashok Kumar, Director Sports SMVDSB, who is also Camp Director.
Earlier, Anshul Garg, Additional CEO SMVDSB and Jitendra Kumar Gupta,
Commandant 6th Bn CRPF interacted with the shooters.
The Camp is being supervised by Rajesh Virdhi, Shooting coach from J&K Police and NK Tiwari of the Shrine Board.
