Shiksha Niketan HSS organizes Grandparents Day

JAMMU, Sept 11: S M Shishu Niketan Hr. Sec. School, Anand Nagar, Patta Bohri, Jammu celebrated Grandparents Day with great fervor, here today.
Managing Director, Parneesh Mahajan, Liaison Officer, Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Principal Manikarnika Bhasin, Co-ordinator Kawaljeet Kour and Staff was present on the occasion.
The celebration started with a special assembly in which the students of higher wing shared their views about their Grand Parents and sang a song as a mark of respect for them.
The kids of junior classes were dressed up in their Grand Parents costume depicting their grandparent personality. They presented beautiful poems about their grandparents.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Mahajan threw light on the importance of this day by saying that grandparents are a blessing for a family.
