JAMMU, Feb 8: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club defeated Greater Kashmir Cricket Club by 3 wickets in a friendly match played here today.
Winning the toss and batting first, GKCC scored a decent total of 155 runs in 20 overs. Amit top scored with 55 runs, while skipper Rahul Khatri scored 28 runs. For SKCC, Navdeep took 2 wickets, while Shahrukh, Anmol, Sunil and Jimmy claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, SKCC chased the target by losing 7 wickets to win the match by 3 wickets. Suniel Sharma top scored with 52 runs, while Happy Singh contributed 50 runs to the total. Aman Cheema chipped in with 17 runs. For GKCC, Sachin took 2 wickets, while Rahul and Ravi shared 1 wicket each. Suniel Sharma of SKCC was declared as man of the match.
