JAMMU, Apr 6: Shaheen Blue and Young Tiger Football Club defeated their rivals to advance in the 2nd Phase of 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament, being organized by District Football Association (DFA) under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), here.
In the first match, Shaheen Blue Football Club defeated Churchill Brothers ‘B’ by a solitary goal (1-0). Sarmad Rizwan was the goal scorer.
In another match, Young Tiger Football Club defeated Cantt Star FC by four goals to one in an easy contest. For Young Tiger, Ujjwal scored 2 goals, while Naresh and Shivam netted one goal each. Manik scored the lone goal from Cantt Star Football Club.
The matches were officiated by Ajay Singh, Ankit Mehta, Abhishek Chandan, Honey Mehra, Ashish and Devanshu.
