JAMMU, May 18: State Football Academy (SFA) celebrated Asian Football Confederation Grassroot Day at Mini Football Stadium, Parade, here.
To commemorate the day, exhibition matches organised in different age groups of children (six to 12 years), youth (13 to 19 years), Plus 20 years and above 40 years (veteran) under the supervision of Satpal Singh (AFC-A licence coach) of the SFA .
Satpal Singh, who is a senior coach of J&K State Sports Council, was supported in the event by Amardeep Singh (international footballer), Dheeraj Menia (AFC-C licence coach), Varinder Sharma (president NGR Football Club and Ranjan Mahajan.
Secretary District Football Association (DFA) Jammu, Yusuf Don was also present.
