JAMMU, May 4: Senior Hockey tournament, organized by Hockey J&K and sponsored by J&K Sports Council, entered Day-2 at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
Two matches were played today. The first match was played between Hiranagar Hockey Club and AKS Digiana which was won by Hiranagar Hockey Club by 8 goals to nil. Rajinder Singh, senior vice president Hockey J&K was the guest of the first match.
The 2nd match was played between MBS Club Simbal and Mohinder Singh Club Nowshera, wherein MBS Club Simbal emerged winner by 8 goals to nil. Daljit Singh (Executive Member Hockey J&K) was the guest of the match.
The matches were officiated by a technical panel of Gurjeet Singh (Former International Hockey player and Hockey Coach JK Police), Iqbal Singh (NIS Hockey Coach) D. Singh (NIS Hockey Coach), Jagjit Singh (NIS Hockey Coach) and Balmeet Singh.
Two semifinal matches will be played tomorrow between Hiranagar Vs MBS Simbal and Khalsa Warriors against BBS Club Poonch.
