Semis line up drawn in Inter-Collegiate Basketball Men Tournament

JAMMU, Sept 24: Semis line up has been drawn in the Inter-Collegiate Basketball (Men) Tournament, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education at Police Stadium, Gulshan ground.
In semifinal, Government MAM College will lock horns with GGM Science College and SPMR Commerce College will take on PG Department, University of Jammu tomorrow.
Earlier in today’s matches, MAM College outplayed GDC Kathua by 33-15 points, whereas SPMR Commerce College beat GDC Paloura by 29-23 points. PG Department again proved its supremacy and marked one side win over GCET Jammu by 39-07.
Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau was the chief guest during the inaugural match between MAM College and GDC Kathua.
Meanwhile, in Women category, PG Department and GCW Parade will clash in the final tomorrow. Earlier, in the semis, GCW Parade beat GCW Gandhi Nagar by 18-9 goals and sealed berth in the final.
The matches were officiated by Aman Sharma, Amarjit Singh, Shaktiesh, Rajesh Bandral, Mousmi Verma, Mohammad Shafi and Nisha Sharma.
