JAMMU, Dec 17: The Inner Call, Forum for Evolution, Development and Awareness organized a seminar on “Women Empowerment” at Government College for Women, Parade, here today.
MLC Rani Beloria was the chief guest on the occasion.
The students of college highlighted the need for empowerment of women and enlisted the many Acts available that offer them “RIGHTS” to make life more progressive. The role of the male counter parts in society was also discussed along with the importance of Woman as a society builder.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest shared her experience with the students.
Earlier, welcoming the chief guest and other dignitaries the Chairperson of The Inner Call, Roma Wani highlighted the achievements of the forum in the field of education, health, and domestic life and the contribution towards society.
Prominent among other speakers were Pankaj Basotra; Affan Yesvi, Secretary The Inner Call; Dr Hemla Aggarwal, Dr Sandya Bhardwaj, Dr Shashi Koul and Inam-Un-Nabi.
