Seminar on ‘Drug abuse awareness’ held

JAMMU, Aug 9: A seminar titled “Drug abuse awareness and prevention” was organized today by Central GST Commissionerate, Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with KC International School to sensitize the students about drug abuse and illicit trafficking and its impact on society at large.
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBITC) has also launched ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ calendar to commemorate 75 years of independence wherein various activities and programmes to be carried out during the year.
During the seminar, the students were informed about the rising menace of drugs which has become very prevalent in our present day society especially amongst students and children by Vikramaditya Meena, Deputy Commissioner, CGST, Jammu and Sunil Ganjoo, Superintendent, CGST, Jammu under the guidance of Mahesh Kumar Rustogi, Principal, Commissioner, CGST Jammu.
