JAMMU, Mar 7: Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association (JKHA) shall be holding selection trials for Junior (boys and girls) and senior (men) teams at Shastri Nagar Play Fields, here from March 9.
Spread over three days, the selection process in junior group shall take place from March 9 to 11, followed by the senior men’s trials at the same venue from March 12 to 14 at 4 pm onwards.
“Players born on or after January 1, 2001 are only eligible for the selection trials in junior group of men and women. Those eligible players have been advised to bring along necessary documents to support their age,” general secretary of the Association said.
The selection will be made for upcoming 43rd Junior National (girls) Championship, scheduled to be held at Hyderabad from March 31 to April 4 and for 43rd Junior (boys) National Championship which is scheduled to be held at Delhi from March 23 to 27.
