JAMMU, Aug 13: Sports and Culture Welfare Association (SCWA) J&K organised Carrom /Chess Championship on the eve of Independence Day at Kotli Janj Ghar, Rehari Colony, here.
Around100 players in the age group of 5 to 15 years took part in the Championship, among which 68 competed in Carrom and 30 have been registered for Chess competitions to be held tomorrow, to be followed by Prize Distribution function.
On the occasion, the Asociation announced its new body with Arun Khanna nominated as Chairman, SP Bali as President, Chandan Datta as Vice President and Tarsem as General Secretary.
