Science Gadget programme concludes

LEH, July 28: Five day Science Gadget programme organized by Star Club Social Welfare Society concluded at Lamdon School, here today.
NGO organized this science gadget programme for far flung areas of Leh to know lates gadgets used in daily life.
Deputy Commissioner Leh, Simrandeep Singh distributed prizes among the students.
As many as 55 students from eight different school participated in this program.
Star Club Social Welfare Society, a non-government organization organized 5 day science gadget programme for students of Leh. During programme essay writing/debate/drawing/science quiz, science drama & science toon Competition were main events from student community. Teachers orientation workshop on science in day today life, Science theater workshop, essay competition and film show and interaction with scientists also held.
Lauding the efforts of Star Club Social Welfare Society, Deputy Commissioner Leh, Simrandeep Singh who was chief guest, urged upon the students to nurture scientific temperament to capably cope up with the fast changing world’s scenario.
Tariq Khan, Director Star Club Social Welfare Society said NGO is organizing such programmes for children of far flung areas where communication links are less.
Principal Lamdon Model Higher Secondary School, Ishey Tondup termed the programme as a highly beneficial and productive for the students. Deputy Commissioner Leh, distributed prizes among students on the concluding ceremony.
