JAMMU, Apr 7: The Scholarship Distribution Programme of Salal Power Station, under CSR-SD for the FY concluded today.
The Scholarships were distributed among the students studying in various schools of Zone Pouni and Zone Reasi by A G Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station.
It was distributed among the meritorious and economically weak students with an aim to facilitate, motivate and encourage the students to pursue their studies.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Shree Prakash, Chief Engineer (Civil), NHPC Limited, JK Sharma, JK Sharma, Manager HR and Principals of various Schools.
Speaking on the occasion, Ansari said Education is the backbone of Nation and the small children are the leaders of tomorrow, adding that initiative to facilitate the students is the need of the hour.
He advised the students to make judicious use of their time and concentrate on their studies.
