SCFA beats Young Tiger

JAMMU, Sept 22: SCFA defeated Young Tiger by 6 goals to 5 in tie breaker in the 2nd quarter-final match of Jammu Gold Football Tournament at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
The match ended in a draw as both the teams scored 1-1 at full time wherein Harshpreet Singh scored a goal for SCFA in 28th minute, while Vivek netted goal for Young Tiger in the 11th minute of the 2nd half. Thereafter the match was decided in a tie breaker in which SCFA emerges as winner by 6 goals to 5.
Shivam Mehra, Soyam Gupta, Ravit Kumar and Dil Bahadur were the referees of the match.
Ravi Dogra (National Player and vice president Central Zone NC) was the chief guest. He was accompanied by Rajinder Abrol (chairman Young Hero), Rajesh Sumbria (secretary), Romesh Chander, Darshan Kumar and Kamal Kumar.
Meanwhile, Kathua FC willlock horns with Churchill Bros. ‘B’ tomorrow.
