SCC defeats NUCC by 41 runs

JAMMU, Aug 18: Sharda Cricket Club (SCC) registered 41 runs win over New United Cricket Club (NUCC) to enter in the next stage of the ongoing 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tournament, being organized by Krish Sports and Event at KC Sports Club, here today.
Batting first, SCC scored 92 runs by losing all wickets in 18 overs. Shubhum scored 26 runs in 18 balls while Rajat Safaya and Ave Kachroo made 14 and 13 runs, respectively. From NUCC, Deepak proved his mettle and scalped 4 wickets while Sumit and Hritik also claimed 1 wicket each.
In the second inning, NUCC failed to chase the target and collapsed at paltry 51 runs by losing all wickets in 16 overs. Sumit made 12 runs while Surinder scored 10 runs. From SCC side, Rajat Safaya was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 3 wickets while Rahul took 2 wickets and Ronak claimed one wicket.
Rajat Safaya of SCC was adjudged as Man of the Match and was awarded by chief guest Vicky Raina and Mintoo Bhat.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Faiz as umpires, while Rehan Rana maintained the scorecard. The tournament is being played under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu, Rehan Rana and Ave Kachroo from Krish Sports and Event.
