JAMMU, Nov 24: In the quarter final match of the ongoing Reasi Premier League, played between Shastri Cricket Club (SCC) and Akhnoor Cricket Club (ACC) at Reasi Sports Stadium, the former defeated the later by 94 runs to reach the semi-final.
After winning the toss, SCC elected to bat first and added a huge 162 run target on score board in 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets.
From SCC side, Puneet scored highest 59 runs while, Deepak hit 52 runs.
For ACC, Lovely took 3 wickets while, Ankush and Rahul took two wickets each.
Chasing the target, entire ACC team could make only 68 runs in 12.4 overs. Jerry scored highest 25 and Lovely 8 runs for the team.
For SCC, Raman took highest 5 wickets while, Puneet and Rahil took two wickets each.
Puneet of SCC was declared as “Man of the Match” for his 59 runs and two wickets.
Dev Karan Singh and Nitin Anand were umpires and Ajaz Malik was the scorer.
Pertinently, 32 teams participated in the tournament.
