DODA, July 3: Senior Cricket Club (SCC) Chhattis-garh thrashed Lagan Cricket Club (LCC) Ramban by seven wickets in the ongoing All India 14th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Champion-ship 2018 at Sports Stadium, here today.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by 10 Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda and J&K Bank.
Batting first, after winning the toss, LCC Ramban set a target of 109 runs by losing 8 wickets in the alloted 15 overs. Mohan Singh was the top scorer with 24 runs while Yasir Malik contributed 21 runs to the total. From SCC Chhattisgarh, Mohd Saddam took 3 wickets while Padman and Piyash Gupta shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, SCC Chhattisgarh team chased down the target in 13.4 overs by losing 3 wickets. Mohd Saddam was the highest scorer who scored 40 runs while Ramesh Choudhary contributed 31 runs for his team. From LCC Ramban, Heera grabbed 2 wickets while Mohd Arif Sheikh picked 1 wicket. Mohd Saddam of SCC Chhattisgarh was declared as the man of the match for his superb all- round performance who was given prize by Prop. Angel Light and Tent House Doda, Bushan Kumar along with Dr Azhar Ali Balwan.
The match was officiated by Ifroz Raza and Harish Raza as umpires, while Sandeep Kaushik acted as the official scorer.
