Satish scores cracking fifty in RCC’s emphatic win

KATHUA, Mar 24: Brilliant half-century by promising all-rounder Satish Kumar, coupled with good knock of 46 runs by Ahyatsham helped Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC), Srinagar drub Talwar Cricket Club by a big margin of 45 runs in the ongoing prize money T20 Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here today.
Winning the toss and batting first, RCC Srinagar scored a decent total of 173 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Satish played a magnificent innings of unbeaten 50 runs, studded with 5 delectable boundaries and 3 towering sixes, while Ahatysham and Ahmer contributed 46 and 23 runs to the total. Puneet Kumar chipped in with unbeaten 3-ball 14 runs including 2 big sixes. For Talwara Cricket Club, Karan was the most successful bowler, scalping 3 important wickets.
In reply, Talwara Club bundled out for 128 runs to lose the match by 45 runs. Martial was the top scorer with 37 runs, while no other batsman managed a big score from the Club. For RCC Srinagar, Sourav Chopra, Satish Kumar and Dilbagh Singh claimed 2 wickets each. Satish was adjudged man of the match for his magnificent knock and was presented a cash prize of Rs 1100 and a trophy by the chief guest on the occasion.
