JAMMU, Dec 5: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day-UDAAN VII with theme ‘Ojasava’in its premises, here today.
Lecturer of Physical Education in Department of Youth Services and Sports, Nirmal was the guest of honour.
Rohini Aima, Principal cum vice-chairperson of the School conveyed her gratitude to guest of honour and other eminent members of the School during her welcome address. She motivated the students and asserted that the school was conducting the sports meet by following all the social distancing norms issued by MHRD.
The event entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the release of balloons by the dignitaries. The students displayed their dexterity with martial art, multifarious forms of races during the event, followed by the award ceremony for meticulous students created zeal among all for carving a niche and excelling in their respective fields.
The event concluded with the address of guest of honour in which he appreciated the efforts of Jagpreet, Tanishka, Yogesh, Ravinder and Rajesh for presenting divine and grandiose show. He also asserted that whatever one does, one should do it with all heart and soul to accomplish the task in hand.
The vote of thanks was given by Yogesh Manhas while the event was compared by Sarika, Shallu and Hargun Kour.
