JAMMU, Sept 4: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the semifinals, Sankalap Soni and Sourav Santay sealed berth in the finals and will lock horns against each other in the summit clash, here tomorrow.
In the first semifinal Sankalp drubbed Furkan Wani (2-0) by (54-43, 56-34), while in another semifinal, Sourav got the better of Akhil Sharma (2-1) by (47-57, 55-09, 44-39).
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Sankalp trounced Sudhanshu Mahajan (2-0), Furkan prevailed over Krishanashu Bhagat (2-0), Sourav Santay outplayed Jatin Narang (2-1) and Akshit Sharma beat Aryaman Mahajan (2-1).
Meanwhile, the organisers have informed that the Sub Junior Billiards will begin tomorrow and the last date of enteries for Junior Snooker will end tomorrow.
