POONCH, Dec 9. Salil Raina will take on defending Champion Sandeep Luthra in the title clash of men’s singles finals of the ongoing 23rd District Table Tennis Championship which is being organized by District Table Tennis Association Poonch under the aegis of J&K State T.T Association.
Earlier in first semifinal Salil Raina defeated Gurjot Singh (11-8,11-9,11-8), while in another semifinal Sandeep Luthra defeated Gagan (11-9,7-11,9-11, 11-7,11-9).
In mens doubles the duo of Gagan and Paropkar trounced Vivek Matto and Prof Jasbir Singh (11-9,11-8). The duo of Narinder Singh and Marshal outplayed Ravinder Singh and Ravinder Singh Senior (11-8,11-9). Salil Raina and Sandeep Luhtra got better of Gaganpreet and Olive (11-8,11-9).
The final of the Championship will be played tomorrow in which DDC Poonch Sajad Ahmed Khan will be the chief guest, while SSP Poonch Shamsher Hussain will be the guest of honour.
