Sainik Colony outplays Vijay Club in Senior Division Football

JAMMU, Oct 25: Sainik Colony Football Club defeated Vijay Club by three goals to one (3-1) in Senior Division Football League at GGM Science College Football ground, here today.
Sainik Colony team dominated the game from the word go and took the early lead in the 14th minute when Dharam Singh pelted a splendid goal. The team increased the lead through a goal scored by Ishan Kumar in the 43rd minute of the match. However, Tanpreet Singh of Vijay Club scored a superb goal in the 53rd minute to make it (2-1). Finally a brilliant goal by Ankit Mehta in 56th minute for Sainik Colony helped them to win the match by (3-1).
The match was officiated by Rakesh Kumar, Moon Stephen, Rooney Yalap and Romesh Kumar.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Param FC will take on Young Rovers at 3 pm at the same venue.
Prominent among others who witnessed today’s match were Narinder Gupta, Sheikh Mehmood, Virender Gupta, Amardeep Singh, Satpal Singh and Rajesh Sumbria.
