JAMMU, Oct 25: 11 Even Sports Inter-School Table Tennis Championship, organized by J&K Table Tennis Association concluded at MA Stadium, here today.
Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Education and Information Technology was the chief guest on the occasion.
She gave away the prizes to the winners and the runners-up players. Speaking on the occasion, she encouraged the players to participate more and more in such tournaments and assured the officials of all the possible help from the Government to promote this game.
S K Sharma, Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and  Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports were the guests of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were VK Magoo, Ajay Sharma, Satbir Singh, IP Singh, Narinder Singh, Rajan Sharma, Vikas Gupta, Sheetal Gandotra, Sanjeev Gupta, Satish Gupta, Meenu and Sandeep.
The Association thanked 11 Even Sports Pvt. Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, J&K State Sports Council and Stiga for their support in smooth conduct of the Championship.
Earlier, in Junior Boys finals, KC Public School defeated KV No-1 by (3-0). Hanumant got better of Manya 11-06, 11-06, 11-06, Sudikshan beat Akhil 11-04, 11-06, 11-05, while in doubles Hanumant and Sudikshan trounced Manya and Akhil by 11-04, 11-03 and 11-08.
In Junior Girls finals, Dehli Public School outplayed National Academy Udhampur by (3-0, while in Senior Girls finals, KC Public School beat Presentation Convent School by 3-0. Shreya beat Ashmeet 11-05, 11-05, 11-07, Jhanvi Pandoh outplayed Hargun Sr. by 11-07, 11-06, 11-08 and in doubles Shreya and Jhanvi Pandoh trounced Meghna Jain and  Archita Kesar by 11-07, 11-09 and 11-08.
In Senior Boys finals, KC Public School outplayed their rival 3-1. Ritvik Gupta drubbed Manandeep Singh by 13-11, 14-12, 11-7, Arnav prevailed over Ashank Gupta by 12-10, 11-8, 11-7, while in doubles, Ritvik Gupta and Ashank beat Maanandeep Singh and Ketan by 10-12, 8-11, 11-4, 11-8 and 11-1 and in reverse singles Ritvik Gupta defeated Arnav by 16-14, 11-9 and 11-9.
