JAMMU, Nov 30: Sainik Colony Football Club defeated NGR in an easy contest, while Jammu United held Young Rovers to goalless draw in the ongoing Senior Division Football League Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, District Jammu at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
In the first match, Sainik Colony got better of NGR by three goals to one (3-1). For Sainik Colony Niteshwar scored the first goal through penalty kick in the 10th minute, while the other two goals were netted by Ishan Verma in 33rd and 56th minutes respectively. For NGR, Kamal was the goal scorer in 72nd minute of the match.
In another match, Jammu United held Young Rovers to a goalless draw. The players of both the teams tried their level best to score but failed in their attempts.
Sainik Colony will take on Jammu United in the next match to be played tomorrow at the same venue.
