Ruhi Mandotra bags first prize in symposium on ‘Corruption’

SAMBA, Sept 13: Press Chamber of India organized a symposium on “Corruption” at Government Degree college, in which students from various schools participated and expressed their views on the topic.
On the occasion, SSP Samba, Israr Khan, was the chief guest, while, Narendra Sharma and Navneet Mishra were the guest of honours. Additional SP Dr Kaushal Sharma and DySP Munish Anand were the special guests.
While speaking, SSP advised the students to spread the message among the youth to come forward for stop corruption and make India total free from corruption. He impressed upon the students to come forward in the field of social work.
In the competition, Ruhi Mandotra of Girls Higher Secondary School, Samba bagged Ist prize, where as Hitakshi Sharma of National High School Samba and Diksha Dogra of Kushan Public Higher Secondary School secured second and third positions respectively. Tshikta Sharma of GDC Samba was awarded as best speaker.
Among others present were Kusum Khajuria, district president of the organization, Principal GDC Samba SP Sharma, president Transporters Association Samba Vinod Singh, Prof Sandya Sharma, GDC Samba and prominent persons of the District.
