Royal Warrior crushes Stadium XI by 237 runs; Chandwan XI scripts big win

JAMMU, May 16: Royal Warrior Cricket Club crushed Stadium XI by a huge margin of 237 runs at GGM Science College Hostel ground Jammu and Chandwan XI registered a big win over Death Warrior XI at Police Lines ground Kathua in the ongoing JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament, being held under the patronage of Justice CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA, Chairmanship of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO and supervision of Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member JKCA and Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission.
At GGM Science College ground, Royal Warrior defeated Stadium XI in a one-sided affair.
Batting first, Royal Warrior scored a big total of 306 runs in 40 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Deepak scored unbeaten 102 runs, while Narotam contributed 55 runs to the total. Rahul also contributed 32 runs. From Stadium XI, Rahil took 2 wickets, while Mohit, Dapinder, Ritvik and Abhishek claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Stadium XI bundled out for paltry total of 69 runs in 21.2 overs. Manav was the only batsman to cross double figure mark, scoring 17 runs. From Royal Warrior, Rahul bagged 6 wickets, while Narotam and Karanveer claimed 2 wickets each.
At Kathua, Chandwan XI, winning the toss and batting first scored 292 in 34 overs. Akhil scored 126 runs in 85 balls, while Naveen contributed 61 off 38 balls. Ganesh and Pritam took 3 wickets each from Death Warrior.
In reply, Death Warrior scored 143 runs in 30 overs to lose the match by 149 runs. Gourav (29) and Ganesh (26) were the main scorers. From Chandwan XI, Akhil took 3 wickets, while Sardari claimed 2 wickets.
