DODA, May 6: Royal Public School Dhama Kalihand celebrated its first Annual Function namely ‘Royal Festival’ in the school premises, here today.
The Festival was woven around the theme ‘Importance of Education’.
Dr Ajaz Ahmed Wani, Head of the Department Zoology, Degree College Doda was the chief guest and Prof Imtiyaz Ahmed was the guest of honour.
Bilal Ahmed (Director), Surjeet Kumar (I/c Principal), Shannu Sharma, Shannu Devi and Sajid Hussain and Rashid Hussain were also present on the occasion.
The programme commenced with the Naat-e-sharief, which was followed by welcome dance.
The students then presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, plays, songs and various other activities.
Speeches were also delivered by the students and martial art display was also held on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering the, the chief guest praised the school for raising the educational standard in the village.
He congratulated the management, staff and students for their meticulous work.
The programme was well organised and the students gave a stupendous performance.
The proceedings of the function were conducted by Satyam Sharma and Shannu Sharma.
