JAMMU, Jan 12: Royal Cricket Club got the better of Bharat Cricket Club by 20 runs in a friendly cricket match at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota, near here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Royal Club scored a modest total of 129 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Sunil top scored with 50 runs, while Kamal contributed 21 runs to the total. For Bharat Cricket Club, Vinod was the wrecker-in-chief who took 5 important wickets.
In reply, Bharat CC, bundled out for a paltry total of 109 runs to lose the match by a narrow margin of 20 runs. Kuldeep scored magnificent 69 runs, while no other batsman could cross the double figure mark. The bowling trio of Royal Cricket Club namely Rajesh Salhotra, Rajinder and Vishal Sudan bowled with nagging line and teasing length to bundle out the opposition for a meagre total.
