DODA, July 12: Rose Garden Kosamba (RGK) Gujarat team registered a convincing win over Green Shine Cricket Club (GSCC) team by 56 runs and entered into the semifinals of the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship being played at Sports Stadium, here today.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda with the support of District Administration and District Police Doda.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, RGK Gujarat team set a target of 158 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.5 overs. Yasin Kamboli top scored with 48 runs while Najim Patel scored 36 runs. From bowling side, Yawar Khan and Ankush Bandral took 3 wickets each.
In reply, while chasing the target, GSCC Doda scored 102 runs in 17.5 overs, thus lost the match by 56 runs. Umar top scored with 29 runs while Nadeem Dar added 16 runs to the total. From bowling side, Yasin Kamboli and Ziyan Malek took 3 wickets each. Yasin Kamboli of Rose Garden Kosamba Gujarat team was declared as the man of the match for his all round performance who was given prize by Advisor YSCC Doda, Dr Tariq Masood and Secretary YSCC Syed Nasir.
The match was officiated by Harish Raza and Yousuf Raza as the umpires while Sandeep Kaushik maintained the scorebook.
