JAMMU, Dec 16: RMG International School celebrated the Annual Sports Day amidst a lot of fun and frolic. Sham Lal Sharma, Vice-President BJP JKUT was chief guest while guest of honour was K D Bhagat, DySP (DAR) and Special Guest was Joginder Singh, Station House Officer, Police Station Gharota.
There were some fun races including Ready to School Race, Sack Race, Lemon Spoon Race, Newspaper Relay, Three Legged Race, 100 Meter Sprint and Balancing Race. In the next set of events senior students displayed their vigour and athletic talents in Shot-put, Javelin Throw, High Jump, Long Jump, Hurdle Race, 400 Meter Race.
The chief guest awarded medals to the winners and winning houses. Meenal Rathore, Housemistress, Alexandria House along with House Captain and Vice Captain received the trophy. The chief guest emphasised the importance of sports in a child’s life. He said that it is not important to win, but participation makes all the difference.
