JAMMU, Feb 27: RM College of Management and Information celebrated its 4th Annual Day with traditional fervor in the College Auditorium, here today.
The celebration was attended by myriad of people belonging to different sections of society including students, parents and academicians etc.
The program was chaired by Padamshree Balwant Thakur, Regional Director ICCR Jammu, while Prof BC Sharma from The Business School, University of Jammu and Rameshwar Mengi, Chairman RM Charitable and Educational Trust, presided over the function.
The programme started with the lighting of lamp followed by the formal welcome address by the Principal of the college PK Dhar.
The students presented spectacular stage performances including Punjabi giddha and bhangra dance, skit and comedy performances which invited huge applause from the audience.
The awards in both academic and extra scholastic areas were presented to the students, who have exhibited outstanding performances during the last academic session.
Some special awards including best students of the year in BCA and BBA were presented to Gagandeep Singh and Puneet Kour respectively.
Finally, Balwant Thakur and Prof BC Sharma addressed the gathering and lauded the role of the institute in imparting knowledge and ethics among the students.
Chairman of the Trust presented vote of thanks, while Prof RS Moza presented Annual Report. Bellu Suri and Esha Muglani, Lecturers of the college conducted the proceeding of the programme, while Saveeta Sharma presented vote of thanks.
