Ritwik emerges boys champion

Kolkata, June 1: Ritwik Chatterjee and Shruti Gupta emerged U-16 champions in the boys and and girls sections respectively at the just-concluded DKS BTA Junior State Ranking Tennis Tournament today.
Adrija Mukherjee, seeded 1 in girls U-12, clinched the title against beating third seed Shiropa Bar 4-1, 4-1.
Top seed in Girls Under 14, Nilanjana Saha had it easy against Nikhar Roy Chowdhury, the 2nd seed in the draw by 6-1, 6-1. (PTI)
